I’ve been carrying this book quietly for a while.

Not in a “big announcement” way, but in the way you carry something fragile and meaningful…tucking it into spare moments, returning to it slowly, letting it take the shape it wanted to be.

And now, The Wintering Companion is officially live!

This book was never meant to rush you or fix you or turn winter into something it isn’t. It was made to sit beside you, to be opened on a quiet afternoon, left on the table, returned to when the light fades early and the days feel a little smaller.

Inside, you’ll find:

  • Gentle essays about winter as it actually is
  • Pages for notes, reflections, and small observations
  • Rituals, lists, and seasonal pauses
  • Space to mark time without hurrying it

It’s a companion for the season you’re already in.

And maybe most importantly: it’s a reminder that winter doesn’t need to be endured. It can be tended.

A Small Note on What Comes Next

This book is the beginning of something seasonal.

I’m already quietly working on companions for other times of year, each one shaped by its own rhythm, and its own kind of care. Books that arrive when they’re ready, the way seasons do.

If The Wintering Companion finds its way into your hands, know that it’s part of a longer conversation, one that will continue, slowly, through the year.

And I hope it feels like a small kindness when you open it.
