I’ve been working on something new for The Rosewood Society, and I’m finally ready to share it.

Beginning this month, you can get The Rosewood Society in the mail!

I’ve wanted to do this for a while because as much as I love making the digital paper every month, some things just feel better on actual paper. Pages you can write on, recipes you can save, little things you can cut out and tuck into a journal, or something you leave sitting on the kitchen table and come back to later.

So I made a real one.

And I love it.

The Rosewood Society by Mail

The mailed Society isn’t just a printed copy of the digital one. It’s an expanded 12-page edition, with extra pages and things I won’t be including in the free digital version.

Every month will be a little different depending on the season and whatever else I feel belongs in that month’s paper.

You’ll also get a different Rosewood Society membership card each month, which I think might be one of my favorite parts.

And yes, the digital Society is still free. That’s not changing at all. This is just an extra option for anyone who wants the bigger physical edition delivered to them.

About the Mail…

I’m sending these without envelopes, which was intentional.

The Society itself gets folded, addressed, stamped, and sent on its way. It means less unnecessary paper and waste, keeps the mailing cost down, and honestly, I just like it better this way. It looks like an actual little piece of mail.

September Is the First Issue

I’m especially excited that September gets to be the first one because I really love this issue.

It’s filled with apples and early autumn things, September School, Apple Cider Cake, seed saving, things to write down and keep, and a few other little surprises. And, of course, the September membership card.

If you join by September 15th, I’ll send you the September issue. After that, new memberships will begin with October.

One Little Note About Mailing

For now, The Rosewood Society by Mail is available within the United States only. I would love to eventually send Rosewood mail a little farther out into the world, but while I figure out postage and all the practical things that come with mailing internationally, I’m starting here at home.

If you’re outside the U.S., you can still join the free digital Rosewood Society and receive the monthly digital edition.

It feels a little strange and very exciting to think that something I’ve been making at my desk is about to start showing up in actual mailboxes.
